On 3rd October 2018, Sotpattana School for the Deaf organized a study tour in connection with its project on environmental conservation and the local curriculum on “Banana Trees” for the students to learn from Mother Nature. The group went to Sattahip are to visit the Royally-initiated Siri Charoenwat Forest Plantation Project which was presented as a loving gift from King Rama 9 to HM Queen Sirikit on her 60^th birthday anniversary. Our children have learned new things about trees and animals in forest plantation through briefings of resource persons, sightseeing, trekking, and gained practical experiences from building a dam and fertilizing water lilies with effective micro-organism mud balls or EM balls.
