Study Tour and Environmental Concern Activity
On Friday, 26th February 2016, following the week of learning about “Coconut Trees,” children of Sotpattana School for the Deaf went on a tour to the New Theory Learning Center of the Royal Thai Navy in Sattahip, where they saw and experienced how our King’s renowned philosophy on Sufficiency Economy is possible and practical. The participants and their teachers had a close view of coconut trees in the huge farm with various animals. In relation to the school’s environmental concern activity, our children learned about the construction process of Cob Homes made from national soil and Vermicomposting process, tree planting, and the conservation of sea turtles at the “Sea Turtles Conservation Center” run by the Royal Thai Navy.
