Mother’s Day & Workshop on Signs
On the National Mother’s Day 2018, being the Royal 86th Birthday of H.M. Queen Sirikit, Sotpattana School for the Deaf held a special ceremony, presided over by Rev. Fr. Michael Weera Phangrak, to honour Her Majesty, followed by each student expressing love to his/her mother or caregiver through the offering of a garland and a hand-made greeting card, as well as a prostration. Prior to the meaningful observance, the students’ parents gathered to learn and further upgrade their sign language skills for use in communicating with their children..
