In June each year, Thai Schools hold an annual Wai Khru ceremony for students to express their appreciation to teachers.  Sotpattana School for the Deaf organized this activity for the new academic year 2018-2019 on 28^th June with Rev. Fr. Michael Weera Phangrak presiding over the ceremony and 40 students of the School and orphans in pre-school levels in attendance.  Children were in smaller number due several of them being in poor health but it was still a memorable event for all when students offered beautifully and meaningfully decorated trays of flowers, garlands, and roses to their teachers and expat volunteers.
