Apart from learning from the weekly theme: Buddhist Lent, students at Sotpattana School for the Deaf traveled a short distance to Chonglom Temple in Naklua, to present Lenten candles and necessities to the abbot and monks. Pre-school children and expat volunteers also joined the event. They observed this special religious day prior to the actual day – 31^st July – as the school will have a holiday. In addition, the group cleaned the temple compound to express their love for the environment..
