Conserving Thai Culture 2021
Towards the end of the academic year 2020, Sotpattana School for the Deaf had to make up for the loss of school days in January 2021 caused by the 2nd outbreak of Covid-19 in the area. One of the activities organized for our kindergartners this week included “Conservation of Thai Culture” during which students joined in the two learning stations, i.e. Songkran – the Thai Traditional New Year, and Mung Bean Rice-Crepe or Soft Mung Bean Crepe – the Thai Dessert. Students were able to gain knowledge and direct experience through their participation. Both Rev. Michael Weera Phangrak and Rev. Francis Xavier Kritsada Sukkaphat were present in the different parts of the program.
